Download catalogIt is a privilege for the Marc Domènech Gallery to present the second exhibition dedicated to the architect and artist Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, known from 1920 onwards by the pseudonym Le Corbusier (1887 – 1965). “Le Corbusier. Drawings and collages” presents a compilation of 20 works on paper, covering the period between 1919 and 1960, offering us a journey through some of the most interesting stages of his important and allowing us to enjoy many of his most recognized series. The exhibition aims to highlight the artistic creation that the artist made throughout his entire professional career. In fact, despite his worldwide fame as an architect, designer and urban planner, he always incorporated painting into his life. In 1936 he wrote: “I am an architect, but also a painter (…) I have two hearts.”
