A Painting by Esther Boix Joins the MNAC Collection

The Catalan Government’s Department of Culture has acquired a painting by Esther Boix from the 1970s to be deposited as a long-term loan at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC). This addition will strengthen the museum’s collection of female artists and enhance its representation of artists active in the 1960s and 1970s, a period that has been underrepresented in the museum’s holdings.
