Santi Moix

Santi Moix (Barcelona, 1960) lives in New York since 1986. A multifaceted creator, Moix also makes sculptures, drawings, ceramics and mural paintings as well as illustrations for books. Those medias, together with painting, shape his way of expression mixing figuration with abstraction.

In 2002, Moix was recognised with a grant from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. His graphic work is shown at Pace Gallery. His latest special projects include a mural for Prada in their SoHo store, interventions at the Brooklyn Museum, the Palau de la Música Catalana of Barcelona and the frescoes in the church of Sant Víctor of Seurí in the Pyrenees. Currently, Moix resides and has a studio in Brooklyn, New York, and in Barcelona.
