Biography
Madrid, 1915 – Madrid, 2007
Spanish painter and sculptor of the second half of the 20th century, Pablo Palazuelo studied Architecture in Madrid and Oxford, and in 1940, already in Spain, he began to dedicate himself to painting.
His first works have a neo-cubist character that drifts towards abstraction. The first clearly abstract creations date from 1947-48 and are based on the observation of structures whose origin is in nature. The artist continues to investigate, giving rise to a painting and sculpture that play with new dynamisms, flexibility and rhythmic variety.
He died on October 3 in his hometown.
