Joan Furriols is born in Vic on 16 October 1937
1952
Group show with Agrupació d’Artistes in Roda de Ter and Vic.
1954
Furriols joins Els Vuit group
1955
He settles in Barcelona where he comes into contact with avant-garde artists.
He takes part in the 8th October Salon, organised by the 3rd Hispano-American Art Biennial in Barcelona.
His works are displayed at the 6th edition of Els Vuit Salon in Vic.
1956
Furriols takes part in the 1st Print and Drawing Fair in Vic, of which he is a founding member.
Works of his are displayed at the 9th October Salon in Barcelona and at the 7th edition of Els Vuit Salon in Vic and Olot.
1957
He stes up his studio in Poblenou.
His works hang in the 8th edition Els Vuit Salon in Vic.
He takes part in the 2nd Review Salon, the 1st May Salon (Barcelona) and the 10th October Salon (Barcelona).
c.1960
He creates works with cut and perforated iron sheets.
1965
He moves back to Vic where he wil remain.
He creates works made of wood.
Over the seventies he collaborates on theatrical productions.
1981
